Virtual Tours in Real Estate

Virtual tours are becoming more and more popular in real estate. This may be surprising to some, but to others it seems very intuitive. So why would you want to have a virtual tour in real estate?

Real Estate Agents and Firms Already Use Them

A lot of real estate companies already have virtual tours to supplement their open houses, or even replace them completely! Having a virtual tour increases the amount of people that are able to view it, and thus increases your chances for potential clients.

Accessibility

Potential clients can look through the virtual tour before going to the open house, which makes your real estate platform much more convenient and accessible for them. Looking at an open house online could sway their opinion into contacting you or going in to physically see the open house.

Busy Schedules

A lot of people simply don’t have the time to visit open houses, especially in New York. It takes a lot of time to go hunting for a new place to live. A virtual tour cuts travel time completely, which is perfect for people with packed schedules.

Long-Distance Clients

Potential clients who live far away would probably rather not travel to open houses, especially if they’re in their “just looking” phase of searching. Virtual tours make these potential clients more inclined to buy or rent, since they can actually see inside the space you’re advertising.
