How Museums and Galleries are Using Virtual 360 Tours

Virtual Tours for Museums

360 tours are a great way to show the details of a space virtually, which is why many art institutions have decided to add it into their marketing materials and websites. These days, big museums such as the Guggenheim and the MET can be visited through a virtual tour. So, whether you’re planning a trip to New York or live in the area, know that you have the option to plan your visit to these museums beforehand by exploring their spaces online. Furthermore, virtual tours for museums are not only a great option for tourists, but for students as well. Imagine being able to walk through the Louvre without ever having to leave the classroom!

Virtual Tours for Art Galleries

Art galleries have also found it useful to incorporate virtual tours since it’s a great way to display their work and attract clients and visitors from any place in the world. Besides, 360 tours are one of the most effective ways for their brand to increase SEO and boost their rankings, also creating a space for potential clients to engage prior to visiting.

We were recently hired to do a virtual 360 tour for ACA Galleries here in Manhattan, which exhibits some of the most important contemporary and historic artists in the field. It’s amazing how well the details are perceived; it feels like you’re actually visiting the gallery!
